  • Recycling

    Another diverse speciality and initiative in reducing our carbon footprint is our recycling facility which is used for converting printed or plain plastic production waste into palletized form for re-processing. Materials include PP, HDPE, LDPE, and LLDPE. The plant is equipped with degassing facilities for solvent and ink extraction on heavily printed materials which enhances the quality of the palletized product.

  • Engineering

    Koogan Plastics has in-house toolmaking and engineering facilities which enables our service offering to cater to clients’ “concept to finished product” requirements. Our tailor-made solutions allow us to develop, design, manufacture and produce custom made packaging containers to suit the needs of our customers. The engineering department further compliments the maintenance and support requirements of our plant and equipment and now offers its services to the wider public.

    Our rigid packaging product range includes customized and generic containers, tubs and buckets ranging from 250ml to 25 litres which are manufactured to supply diverse market segments such as Paint and Chemical, Food, Dairy, Cosmetic, pharmaceutical and various other industries nationally and abroad.

She is an entrepreneur at heart with a multi-faceted set of skills that complements the manufacturing environment extremely well. Having studied psychology and business, financial planning, business analysis and life coaching, she certainly offers a robust and balanced approach to the team.

  • Muhammad Ismail - Operations Executive

    Muhammad Ismail: A highly capable technical expert who is qualified in the tool room to the production floor. Studying engineering and being raised practically on the production floor with a love for a machine and tooling, Muhammad has become the youngest technical director in the history of the business and is a vital component to the teams overall achievements.

  • Mitesh Harilal - Finance Executive

    Mitesh is highly recommended in the industry and has navigated a large portfolio of financial elements within the group. As the Group CFO, he is highly qualified as a chartered accountant and registered with SAICA. Mitesh offers a very valuable service to the team in supporting a growing financial portfolio

The company which started with four employees now has a staff complement of over 300 employees. Koogan Plastics is a Level 2 Company that is rated in the top 300 BEE Companies in South Africa. The company has diversified operations into two primary packaging spheres namely: Injection Molding and Blow Molding.
